Privacy Policy

rocksources.com (the “Site”) is a static atlas. This policy describes the limited information involved in serving it.

What the Site does not do

• No accounts or sign-ups.
• No cookies set by the Site.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

Submitted reports

When you use the contact page to report a correction, concern, rights issue, or privacy request, the report and any optional email address are stored by Netlify and our private review system. A report does not automatically change facility data. We do not publish submitted reports or use them for marketing.

Hosting logs

The Site is served by a hosting provider that, like most web hosts, may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and operations. Those logs are governed by the hosting provider’s own privacy practices.

Map tiles

The background map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap, a third-party service. When the map renders, your browser makes standard web requests to that service (which necessarily include your IP address and the requested tile URLs). Those requests are governed by that service’s own practices.

Facility data

Facility information shown on the Site is derived from public government records about businesses and industrial operations, not about private individuals. Personal contact fields present in source records are excluded from processing and are never published.

This policy may be updated from time to time.
